What ONAN means
ONAN generally refers to oil natural air natural cooling. The transformer uses natural oil circulation and natural air cooling under the specified rating conditions.
Why site conditions matter
High ambient temperature, altitude, enclosure, sunlight, load profile and installation clearance can affect thermal performance. These should be provided before final quotation.
RFQ checklist
Specify rating, voltage ratio, losses, cooling method, ambient condition, tank type, accessories, standards and tests so the supplier quotes the same basis.
